Carter, the "Nice" Pumpkin

Carter was so excited to go trick-or-treat. As we were walking down Charles Street, he said Happy Halloween to everyone we passed. He was eager to get the candy, but he made sure to say Happy Halloween first, get eye-contact, and wait for a response before he’d grab the candy. To our dismay, he isn’t too judicious about his choice of candy, grabbing the dum-dum instead of the chocolate. The other cute moment was when Mike took him up to a house and they said, “Oh! You’re a scary pumpkin.” Carter took the candy, walked away…stopped, then turned around and said, “No. I’m not a scary pumpkin, I’m a nice pumpkin.” I’m glad he clarified.
