Our friends Jenn and Michael Smith came over with two surprises one Saturday afternoon: a battery-operated train to ride and an offer to chip our car out of the ice and snow since Mike was on-call all weekend. Needless to say, we were thrilled and sooooo grateful. The pics are of the Smith's boy, Andrew, and another of Carter's girlfriends, Maddie.
